Oct. 18
Knoxville Zombie Walk on Market Square at 3:30 p.m. Zombies walk from Market Square to the Knoxville Convention Center. Don your best outfit and help with a canned food drive. https://www.facebook.com/KnoxvilleZombieWalk
Oct. 26
First annual Bed Race at the World’s Fair Park at 12 p.m. Teams build beds that represent their unique personalities or companies and race. Awards are given.

Trick-or-Trot Halloween 5K at Tyson Park 1 p.m. Koinonia Foundation is holding a 5K fundraiser to raise money for camps for children with disabilities.

Concerts on the Square — Dixie Ghost at Market Square 7 p.m. Come early for a special performance of the dance moves from Thriller at 6 p.m. Dixie Ghost is an acoustic five-piece string band with a sound that is rooted in traditional folk styles yet unmistakably original and progressive.

Halloween Paddle at the Cove at the Cove at Concord Park, 11808 S. Northshore Drive. Come in costume and decorate your boat. Prizes awarded for best of each category. This is an easy flat water paddle. Be prepared for cold water/weather. Weather dependent. Free with your own gear or $15 to rent from River Sport Outfitters. Call 865- 523-0066 for rentals.
